Prior to the commencement of an engagement I will meet with the potential client and/or attorney (joint meeting if the engagement is neutral ) to discuss the engagement. This meeting usually lasts one hour and may be in person or by teleconference. There is no charge for this meeting.
I charge based on the hours of service. I require a retainer to cover the anticipated charge and bill my time time monthly against the retainer. If charges exceed the retainer they are required to be paid monthly.
